Founders Story
Lucie was born out of one of the most overwhelming points in my life.
Just weeks after returning to work from maternity leave, I was made redundant. I was suddenly juggling the demands of caring for my little boy - and everything that comes with being a new mum - while applying for new jobs and planning my wedding, which was only three months away.
I had complete brain fog. My phone was overflowing with notes, reminders, and scattered to-do lists. I was forgetting important dates (like my best friend's birthday and wedding make up trial). I had constant headaches, tired eyes, and a growing sense that I was losing control. The mental load was affecting my mood, my energy, and my ability to be present.
So I went back to basics... pen and paper. I started writing everything down in a notepad. It gave me clarity, but I needed more structure. Something I could carry proudly, that would help me organise the chaos of everyday life and keep big life events, like a wedding, in their own space.
That’s when the idea for Lucie was born.
Lucie comes from the word lucidity, meaning clarity, brightness, and rational thought. It’s everything I needed at the time. I created this planner to help other busy people reclaim calm from the chaos. Because when life feels too much, sometimes the simplest tools make the biggest difference.
